Please do not confuse Man and His Van with Man with a Van. Man and His Van is based in Sydney and is a leading furniture removalist and storage company. There is currently a trade mark dispute between Man and His Van and Man with a Van. Man with a Van is based in Melbourne and under the terms of their proposed trade mark is restricted to Melbourne. However, Man and His Van Pty Ltd consider the names to be too similar and Man and His Van feel that confusion will exist in the market place. Accordingly, opposition proceedings have been initiated against the proposed mark for Man with a Van.
